BRAT aka Brumby

Wether you call it Subaru BRAT (USA) or Brumby (AUS) doesn’t really matter. Different names for different markets but essentially the same vehicle. Most people don’t know it but most people who do love this little UTE. Typical 1980’s Subaru design and instantly recognizable as such, it has creative details such as the targa tops and the jump seats in the bed (US-spec only). I really like this car too and always thought it looks nose-heavy, especially in front 3/4 and side view. This can be fixed easily and I have done just that by lowering it, to ensure it fun can be had on the road. Off-road capabilities could be retained if equipped with airride. 14″ alloy wheels with meaty oldschool Yokohama tires look massive on this tiny truck. I cleaned up all the additional trims and chrome strips for a less cluttered and cleaner look.
