Arcad Buggy

Photoshop Chops and other artwork often start by finding a picture and filing it in the to-do folder, because I have no immediate idea for it – but know that it has potential. In this case, the direction was clear from the beginning.

Based on the Sbarro Arcad, I wanted to create a succesor to the classic Citroën 2CV Dakar with its twin air-cooled boxer engines. The Sbarro Arcad Buggy is powered by a Cadillac Northstar V8 and should be able to propel the lightweight 2CV body with ease, even though it doesn’t have all wheel drive. The tube-frame chassis could easily be adapted to mount the Citroën body panels. This could be a fun ride for the summer – just imagine arriving at the beach parking lot in this vehicle.
