GT-R35 Conversion

Traditional wagons go extinct at an alarmingly fast pace as the industry replaces them with crossovers and SUV. That’s the reality we face both in the show rooms and on the roads. I love sportscars and came up with the idea of fusing what is available from the manufacturers, to create what driving connoisseurs with a need for transport capability really want: a performance wagon. Lower center of gravity, less frontal area to reduce drag and much improved handling for those all important smiles per miles. 

This is the second¹ photoshop chop of a series of similarly modified vehicles: Nissan X-Trail T32 fused with the Nissan GT-R35. The difference in wheelbase is only 75 mm (2.705 mm vs 2780 mm), making it possible to build what is essentially a very extensive body swap. The design keeps most elements of the X-Trail above the lower DLO line and adapts the characteristic GT-R design elements. The reduced height comes mostly from the lowered part of the body, known from classic custom car modification as sectioning.
