Traveling Corsica at the end of summer season, or more specifically out of season, brings its own challenges of finding accommodation that is still open. Driving towards Calvi after arriving with the ferry in Bastia from Livorno, we searched for a place to spend one night and found Rèsidence Le Home. Several houses and pools in a large garden property, perfect weather in the first week of November and only a handful of residents made it feel very special. So special indeed, that we stayed for three nights. Highly recommend, although I have no idea how it feels when the place is fully booked. 

Highly recommended as well: Cabane à Pizzas Calvi across the street.
