Bonneville Land Speed Record Car

What would you do if you find an abandoned Jaguar XK120 in an old barn?

Restore it to its’ former glory? Or take what you have and do the best you can come up with? The first photoshop chop in 2025 was a similar idea and resulted in a Porsche 928 ready to hit the local drag strip. The patina on the car pictured in the image inspired me to convert the vehicle to chase land speed records on Bonneville Salt Lake. No shiny paint needed here, form follows function and so does the optical appearance if you are in a shoestring budget.
