GT1 Conversion

Inspired by Nakai-sans RWB widebody conversions, Singer 964 conversions and the Oilstainlab sculpture I pondered the idea what an old chrome-model Porsche may have looked like in GT1 spec. While creating the photoshop of the body it became clear that it wouldn’t look right at all with the heavily modified proportions – so I changed the picture to an exposed look, where the front and rear body panels are removed and the structural and mechanical parts are visible. Initially a fun quick & dirty project on a rainy weekend, it took a long time to finish it over several months.
